Role Definition
The applicant will be responsible for maintaining Customer relationships on all quality related issues with key accounts such as Volvo, KUK and European OEM’s as well as management of the warranty system for all accounts.

Main roles and responsibilities

* Face to face Customer liaison on all quality related issues,
* Inter departmental communication and coordination on all quality related issues between customers and the Plant,
* Resolution of quality issues through disciplined 8 analysis to establish root cause and determine interim and permanent corrective actions,
* Conduct Internal System Audits to ISO and TS requirements,
* Compilation of weekly and monthly Quality KPI’s,
* Feedback to Senior Management and Customers on all relevant Quality concerns, status and resolution,
* Management of Warranty database, review and settlement of claims including analysis of claims and recommendations for corrective actions,
* Support new Product Introduction using APQP - compilation of PFMEA’s and Control Plans,
* PPAP document collation and submissions.



Requirements

* Educated to HNC level or equivalent experience,
* Strong manufacturing background - ideally automotive bias and time served,
* ISO9001 - TS16949 Auditor,
* Have in-depth knowledge of problem solving and root cause analysis (FMEA, 8D, 5Y, Ishikawa )
* Basic Six Sigma understanding,
* In depth knowledge of PPAP and APQP,
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills,
* Basic metrology skills,
* Use of Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Word etc.
